Hereinafter referred to as the Seller.
2. Validity of Terms
These Terms of Sale apply to purchases made from the Candlewide online store.
By placing an order, the Buyer confirms that they:
- have read these Terms
- agree to them
- undertake to comply with them.
The Seller reserves the right to update these Terms. Changes become effective upon publication on the website.
3. Products
The Candlewide system consists of:
- a ceramic candle container with lid
- a replaceable refill
Refills are designed to be used only with the original Candlewide ceramic container and lid.
The use of non-original components does not correspond to the intended functioning of the Candlewide system.
4. Prices
All prices are presented in euros (€) and include Estonian VAT according to the applicable rate unless stated otherwise.
Shipping costs are added according to the selected delivery method.
Orders shipped outside the European Union may be subject to import duties or customs taxes.
These costs are the responsibility of the Buyer according to the regulations of the destination country.
5. Order Placement
An order is considered confirmed after successful payment.
The sales contract is considered concluded once the payment has been received by the Seller.
After placing an order, the Buyer will receive an order confirmation via email.
If the ordered product cannot be delivered (for example due to stock unavailability), the Seller will inform the Buyer as soon as possible and refund the paid amount.
6. Delivery
Initially, delivery is available within Estonia.
Typical delivery time is 3–7 business days.
In exceptional cases, delivery may take up to 30 calendar days.
7. Transport Damage
If the package arrives visibly damaged, the Buyer is requested to:
- take photographs of the package
- notify the Seller via email
within 72 hours of receiving the package or within a reasonable time after discovering the damage.
8. Right of Withdrawal
The Buyer has the right to withdraw from the purchase within 14 days after receiving the goods.
Returned products must be:
- unused
- in original packaging
- undamaged.
Burned or used candles cannot be returned.
If the product has been used beyond what is necessary to verify its nature and functioning, the Seller may reduce the refund amount according to the decrease in value.
The right of withdrawal does not apply to purchases made by legal entities.
9. Return Costs
The cost of returning goods is borne by the Buyer unless the return is due to:
- a defective product
- an incorrect product delivered.
10. Special Conditions for Refills
Candlewide refills are consumable products.
Refills are not treated as standard returnable goods.
If a refill has been significantly damaged during transport, the Seller will replace it.
The Seller may decide whether the damaged refill must be returned or whether the Buyer may dispose of it.
Surface cracks or fractures may occur in refills due to:
- temperature changes
- transport
- natural contraction of wax.
If the refill remains structurally intact and can be placed into the ceramic container, such cracking is not considered a defect.
The refill remains usable and safe to burn.
If the refill has broken into multiple large pieces or cannot be normally placed into the container, it is considered transport damage and will be replaced.
11. Storage of Refills
Refills must be stored:
- at room temperature
- protected from direct sunlight
- away from heat sources.
Excessive heat (for example inside a hot car or under direct sunlight) may cause deformation of the refill.
Such deformation is not considered a product defect.
12. Safety and Use
Candlewide candles are open flame products.
Users must follow standard fire safety precautions.
The user agrees:
- not to leave a burning candle unattended
- to place the candle on a stable heat-resistant surface
- to keep the candle away from flammable materials
- to follow the safety and usage instructions included with the product.
The wick construction must not be:
- touched
- bent
- modified.
Altering the wick may affect flame behavior and may create a fire hazard.
13. System Modification
The Candlewide system is designed to function as a complete system.
Using refills in other containers or modifying system components may affect burning performance and safety.
The Seller is not responsible for damages caused by modification of the system or use contrary to instructions.
14. Limitation of Liability
The Seller is responsible only for defects that existed at the moment the product was delivered.
The Seller is not liable for damage caused by:
- improper use
- modification of system components
- use of non-original components.
The Seller’s liability is limited to the amount paid by the Buyer for the product.
This limitation does not apply where liability cannot be limited under applicable law.
15. Pricing Errors
The Seller reserves the right to cancel an order if the product price has been displayed incorrectly due to a technical error and is significantly below its actual value.
16. Data Protection
Personal data of the Buyer is processed according to the Candlewide Privacy Policy.
17. Force Majeure
The Seller is not responsible for delays in fulfilling orders caused by circumstances beyond the Seller’s control, including but not limited to logistics disruptions, strikes, technical failures, or other force majeure events.
18. Customer Support
If the Buyer has questions regarding product use or orders, the Seller recommends contacting customer support via email.
Candlewide aims to find a reasonable and customer-friendly solution whenever possible.
19. Dispute Resolution
Complaints must be submitted via email to info@candlewide.com.
If a dispute cannot be resolved through negotiation, the Buyer may contact:
